    Sessions typically last 55 minutes. Frequency depends on your needs and availability; but clients are mostly seen on a weekly basis, especially while symptoms are active.

  • EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing. It is one of the psychotherapy modalities to help individuals process and heal from traumatic experiences. It involves guided bilateral stimulation, such as eye movements or tapping, to assist clients in reprocessing distressing memories and reducing their emotional distress.em description

  • A number of researches show that online EMDR has been found to be just as effective as in-person sessions for PTSD, anxiety, depression, and many other symptoms.

  • We accept both insurance and self-pay options.

    Insurance:

    Currently, we are only a network with:

    • BCBSIL PPO and Blue Choice

    • TriCare Prime; only TriCare Select Members

    • OPTUM commercial plans; which include United Healthcare General, Illinois Exchange, and Oscar Health Plan.

    • Humana Military

    Private Pay Options:

    $160 per a session

    We also offer sliding scale options for a limited number of clients in need.

  • "In-network" and "out-of-network" providers refer to healthcare professionals who either have a contract (in-network) or do not have a contract (out-of-network) with a specific insurance company. These terms are commonly used in the context of health insurance to indicate whether the insurance plan has negotiated rates and coverage arrangements with a particular healthcare provider.

  • The coverage provided by your health insurance plan for services obtained from healthcare providers who do not have a contractual agreement with your insurance company. When you use out-of-network benefits, you may still receive some reimbursement from your insurer, but you are likely to have higher out-of-pocket costs compared to seeing in-network providers.

  • After you feel comfortable starting, we will request your full name, cellphone number, and date of birth (DOB) to add you to our client portal. This will allow you to complete the necessary forms, including consent for services, insurance information, payment details, personal history, and assessments that will help the provider prepare for our first meeting.

  • In the first therapy session (often referred to as an intake session), you can expect the therapist to create a safe and judgment-free space for you to discuss the reasons you're seeking therapy and your goals.

    The therapist will typically inquire about your background, the factors motivating your decision to seek therapy, and what you hope to achieve through the therapeutic process.

    However, we welcome any questions and concerns via email. We will do our best to respond promptly to address any concerns you may have regarding starting therapy treatment or about therapy or questions about modalities we use.

  • To reschedule or cancel an appointment, we kindly request 24 hours' advance notice. You can simply email the provider directly to discuss rescheduling options.
